A LOOK BACK

I call this week blog a look back, because it’s a look back for me. It is amazing to me how so much of this relates to what I have done in the pass. It’s a good feeling to know I have been truly taught some of the best quality of leadership. I do feel blessed for the opportunity to continue on this course. When I took the emotional intelligence test it was kind of spot on. I have always seen my leadership style as fixable. I believe that a person’s style must adjust to every situation or person. I have learned throughout my life that the reaction with one person is not always the same for another. How you can get the same result out each person with different style. An example of this is, if I have a soldier, I believe, is messing I may raise my voice and he may understand that ok I messed up I’ll have to tight up. However the other person may take it as a disrespect how I talk to him

This week focus was on Leadership Behaviors, Attitudes, and Styles, Leadership Ethics and Social Responsibility that why what I mention is important. As a leader how you lead is important, I want to set the example for everyone under me. I want each person to understand when they make a decision on something they have a mentor to draw support from. Leadership was always explained to me as Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage. This to me is the same Principles & Practices of Ethical & Moral Leadership and Leadership Behaviors.as a leader weather in a company or in the field it is import to make sure your moral and ethical compass is straight.

I end this blog this week with Albert Einstein
“Try not to be become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of Value”
